So, I'm on the last leg of my college-choosing process, and it has pretty much come down to GA Tech or NC State. While NCSU would be much cheaper, GA Tech has a much, much better engineering program. (3rd in the country)
Decisions, decisions, decisions......

This terrible, mind bending addiction is known as.... REDDIT.
Yes, this site I'm afraid, has stolen my life. I need suggestions on how to break said addiction. It's gotten to the point where after getting bored of the stuff on reddit, I close out of the tab and open another, only to instinctively type in reddit again. Dx Fire away...

I am mostly making this post to tell everyone on good ol' Newgrounds that I have in fact not died by some freak accident like choking on a cupcake or being hit my a small meteor. I also am making this post to show I have not done the unthinkable of... GASP! leaving Newgrounds, as I know Mybibliophile would probably track me down and murder me. ^_^ Sooo... yeah. this is a thing. Enjoy Gurren Lagann.

I really enjoyed my Christmas this year. I have discovered that while socks completely suck as a present as a kid as I get older, I get more and more excited when I get them. I sadly made life excruciating for my family leading up to Christmas, as whenever they ask what I want, they are met with an "I dunno," or me adding another book to the ever growing list I create for Christmas. Unsurprisingly, I got a shitload of books for Christmas, as I'm sure you can see by the picture. I now classify myself as a bookaholic. I will not leave my room until I am done with every single one of these. =3
So far I've already finished Inheritance by Christopher Paolini, a series that I may have grown out of a little, but I started it when I wasn't too old for it, and I'll be damned if I don't finish it. It was very satisfying, with only a few loose ends.

So I will talk about the party I just went to. Now, this isn't really a party, but more a "party." It was also one of the strangest I've ever been to. It was supposed to be a bonfire party thing, but since it just recently rained, all the wood they had was damp, and even I, who is pretty good at getting fires started, could not get the damn thing to get any better than embers. >=(
So, we just went inside and talked, which was fine, but it got interesting when Craig, a kid who I don't know that well, but is alright, pulled out a ukulele from... somewhere. He's at college going to culinary school, and I guess is planning to be a chef. Anyway, he starts playing random songs, so then someone else eventually gets a guitar. Then Meghan, who is the host of the party, goes and gets a violin, we move to a room with a piano, and Meghan's sister starts playing that. My brother stole a flute from somewhere, (he plays a piccolo in the NC State band) and everyone with an instrument start playing stuff. Everyone who wasn't playing anything was singing. It was a really weird, yet fun experience, and it was where I discovered that a lot of my friends are extremely talented, particularly Meghan's sister. We burned through songs for about 2 hours, doing a bunch of songs that I know, but have no clue what their names are though. A lot of Queen stuff. I wouldn't say it's the best "party" I've been to, but it was certainly the most unique. =/
P.S. Enjoy this non-ecchi pic... while you still can. >=D

But there's no one around to hug. Oh, the woes of my life.... =P

Isn't he adowable? This one's named Oliver. I was actually the one who bestowed this noble name upon him.
