Today, I woke up, stepped outside, and noticed firetrucks, police cars, and ambulances all clustered in the culdesac. It turns out the father of my neighbor, who has ptsd, has gone missing. He was last seen on his dock, and his flip flops are still there. I have no idea what Michael (my neighbor) is going through, and I don't know if I should call him, leave him alone for the moment or anything. They have boats with sonar on the water around their dock, but still haven't found anything. I'm just simply terrified that something might have happened to Michael's dad, because I have known him for more than a decade.

i apologise for not seeing this sooner, i can only hope that everything is going well, i know for a lot of veterans or other individuals even things like fireworks can be difficult for them and the summer months are therefor the months in which they have the greatest difficulty coping. under the circumstances my ridiculous depressing story seems insensitive at best so i will forego it on this post.
fingers crossed,
