Guess the quote (this should be easy)

Posted by Typicalanonymous - May 31st, 2011

Person1: Hey, there's one thing I want to ask you...
Person 2: What's that?
P1: More than anything, you hate when people die, yet you're in the military. Why is that?
P2: I'm in the military to stop people from dying.
P1: And that self-contradiction will get you killed someday...

let me guess it's something anime-y
for some reason it sounds familiar, have you posted it before?

Nope, and it is anime-y. Tis what I watch and enjoy. =P

you have so posted it before
if it is anime i guarentee you i have never seen it
but i have heard that
from someone
and that someone has to be you because the only other person i know who's into anime is ellen and she prefers cutesy romance stories

Nope, never said it before on this site. Perhaps there is a secondary you in an alternate dimension that HAS seen this anime.

perhaps...
also I suppose I could've lied about never having seen anime
if totoro could be considered anime
but i haven't seen that since i was 7 or 8 or something and I don't think this line was anywhere in it.

Ugh, fine.... It's from Code Geass R1, which was a very interesting and awesome anime. And that sorta counts, but that's like watching Spirited Away. (which was kickass) It's in anime sorta format (really meaning it's from Japan), but it's not really anime. Anime pretty much implies episodes. (Black Rock Shooter is an exception to this)

Anywho, now that I've probably shot names that you have no clue what they are at you, I would like to ask if you know how to speak Spanish.

I speak english french swedish and some italian
in other words no but I could probably figure it out if I tried hard enough
why?

Spanish final tomorrow. And I'm screwed.

That sucks. What's so hard about it.
As far as language finals go just do what feels right, pretending confidence is the only way to pull it off.
I would suggest just putting spanish tv on in the background while you do something else
thats how i always got through my french finals

I suppose... Although this is Spanish II, so actually being fluent is pretty far away.

oh nevermind
and don't stress out so much in that case
I (emphasis on the I) could pass a spanish 2 final

Eh, stress is my nature. I stress over even the smallest things. You shoulda seen me before I took the SAT.

we don't take the SAT over here, we take the ACT...I literally found out the day before testing, walked into it cold. Most boring test of my life. and for the record I didn't do too bad. Didn't get a perfect score but didn't do too bad. Be chill when you test and you'll always ALWAYS get a 90 something percent. Unless the aliens stole your brain or you accidentally got moved to advanced calculus/neurosurgery/juggling class.

Eh, we take both. I did actually really well on the ACT; better than the SAT. And I'll uh... watch out for those aliens.

nah i dunno. is it from an anime or some sort?

yup.

it sounds familiar, but i cannot recall. ):

and now i read the comments and saw what it was from... and sad to say its name isn't ringing any bells. :p

Lol, it's a pretty badass anime... =3

see, he says it sounds familiar too
told you i wasnt crazy

'sigh' fine......
